World Food Safety Day 2025 is a reminder of the importance of keeping our food safe. Safe food helps prevent illness, reduces medical expenses, and supports healthier lives. When we understand how to handle and prepare food safely, we can make safer choices to protect ourselves and our families.

Using a food thermometer is an easy way to make sure your food is safe to eat. It tells you if meat, chicken, fish, and other foods are cooked enough to kill harmful germs. Sometimes food looks done but isn’t hot enough inside.
