  • 2 refrigerated pie crust
  • 6 cups apples thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/2 tbsp flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/4 tsp all spice
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions
  1. Wash your hands, apples, and clean your cooking area.
  2. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  3. Peel and thinly slice apples.
  4. In a large bowl, mix sliced apples and remaining ingredients.
  5. Place 1 pie crust in an ungreased pie plate. Press firmly against the bottom and sides.
  6. Add apple mixture to pie dish. Top with the second crust. Press pie crust edges together to seal.
  7. Cut slits or shapes in several places in the top crust.
  8. Bake for 40-45 mins or until apples are soft and crust is golden brown. Cover edge of crust with 2-3 inch wide foil strips for 15-20 minutes to prevent the edges from burning.
  9. Let the pie cool for at least 2 hours before serving. The filling will thicken as it cools.
  10. Enjoy!!

Instructions
  1. Wash your hands and clean your cooking area.
  2. Cut pumpkin, scrape out seeds and place in a colander.
  3. Cover the seeds with water and remove remaining pumpkin flesh.
  4. Strain seeds in a colander and set aside.
  5. Bring a pot with 2-3 inches of water plus a few dashes of salt to a boil over medium to high heat.
  6. Add seeds to the water and let them simmer for 10 minutes.
  7. Strain seeds from hot water and pat dry.
  8. Preheat the oven to 375 F.
  9. Place seeds in a small mixing bowl and add the olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  10. Transfer to a parchment paper-lined baking sheet and spread them out into one even layer.
  11. Bake at 375 F for 20-30 minutes, or when lightly browned, remove the pan from the oven and let them cool.
  12. Enjoy!

Instructions

  3. In the first bowl, beat the eggs.
  4. Add sugar, applesauce, oil and vanilla to eggs. Beat until smooth.
  5. In the second bowl, sift flours, baking soda, baking powder, salt and cinnamon together.
  6. Add sifted ingredients and apples to the first mixture.
  7. Mix all ingredients until blended
  8. Pour batter into a greased loaf pan.

  2. Pre-heat your oven to 400°F.
  3. In medium mixing bowl, cream margarine and sugar.
  4. Add egg and cooked sweet potatoes; mix well.
  5. In the large bowl, stir flour with baking powder, salt, and spices.
  6. Alternate adding milk and the potato mixture to the large bowl with your dry ingredients.
  7. Fold in nuts and raisins.
  8. Spoon into greased 1 ½ inch mini muffin tins, filling each 2/3 full.
  9. Bake at 400°F for 10 minutes or until golden brown
  10. Let cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
