September is Food Safety Education Month

Every day, you handle, cook, and prepare food for yourself and your loved ones. The steps you take can mean the difference between a healthy meal and a serious case of foodborne illness. Each year, 1 in 6 Americans gets sick from contaminated food. The good news? Most cases are preventable.
