Infographic titled “Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program – Educating Families Since 1969” from Texas A&M AgriLife Extension and EFNEP. Highlights 2025 Travis County Outreach results. Program reached 321 participants and 1,369 family members. Ninety-four percent made a positive change in one or more food groups. Adult outreach outcomes include 76% increased physical activity behaviors, 41% using a written food spending plan more often, 91% practicing better food resource management, 97% improved diet quality behaviors, 50% ate red and orange vegetables more often, and 63% improved food safety practices. Youth outreach served 1,602 kindergarten through 12th grade students, with 91% improving ability to choose healthy foods, 69% improving safe food handling practices, and 62% improving physical activity behaviors. Also notes 62 volunteers contributing 702 hours, equal to an $23,580 in-kind contribution.
