Infographic titled “Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program – Educating Families Since 1969” from Texas A&M AgriLife Extension and EFNEP. Highlights 2025 Tarrant County Outreach results. Program reached 496 participants and 1,930 family members. Ninety-three percent made a positive change in one or more food groups. Adult outreach outcomes include 78% increased physical activity behaviors, 52% used a written food spending plan more often, 94% practicing better food resource management, 96% improved diet quality behaviors, 51% ate dark green vegetables more often, and 74% improved food safety practices. Youth outreach served 1,802 kindergarten through 12th grade students, with 87% improving ability to choose healthy foods, 52% improving safe food handling practices, and 61% improving physical activity behaviors. Also notes 79 volunteers contributing 1,060 hours, equal to an $35,605 in-kind contribution.
