Infographic titled “Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program – Educating Families Since 1969” from Texas A&M AgriLife Extension and EFNEP. Highlights 2025 Fort Bend County Outreach results. Program reached 131 participants and 650 family members. Ninety-six percent made a positive change in one or more food groups. Adult outreach outcomes include 82% increased physical activity behaviors, 52% plan meals before shopping more, 98% practicing better food resource management, 96% improved diet quality behaviors, 59% ate dark-green vegetables more often, and 88% improved food safety practices. Youth outreach served 176 kindergarten through 12th grade students, with 83% improving ability to choose healthy foods, 69% improving safe food handling practices, and 65% improving physical activity behaviors. Also notes 13 volunteers contributing 81 hours, equal to an $2,721 in-kind contribution.
