Infographic titled “Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program – Educating Families Since 1969” from Texas A&M AgriLife Extension and EFNEP. Highlights 2025 El Paso County Outreach results. Program reached 1,025 participants and 3,718 family members. Ninety-seven percent made a positive change in one or more food groups. Adult outreach outcomes include 79% increased physical activity behaviors, 62% used a written food spending plan more often, 93% practicing better food resource management, 96% improved diet quality behaviors, 50% ate vegetables more often, and 85% improved food safety practices. Youth outreach served 7,034 kindergarten through 12th grade students, with 89% improving ability to choose healthy foods, 73% improving safe food handling practices, and 63% improving physical activity behaviors. Also notes 100 volunteers contributing 2,303 hours, equal to an $77,358 in-kind contribution.
