Infographic titled “Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program – Educating Families Since 1969” from Texas A&M AgriLife Extension and EFNEP. Highlights 2025 Dallas County Outreach results. Program reached 252 participants and 1,199 family members. Ninety percent made a positive change in one or more food groups. Adult outreach outcomes include 90% increased physical activity behaviors, 75% used a written food spending plan more often, 94% practicing better food resource management, 99% improved diet quality behaviors, 75% ate dark green vegetables more often, and 93% improved food safety practices. Youth outreach served 1,144 kindergarten through 12th grade students, with 74% improving ability to choose healthy foods, 51% improving safe food handling practices, and 43% improving physical activity behaviors. Also notes 42 volunteers contributing 369 hours, equal to an $12,395 in-kind contribution.
